Scooby and Scrappy are running away when they hear Shaggy yell to "wait up guys!". Startled by his transformation and afraid of being cooked and eaten by the witch, Shaggy escapes into the swamp to seek help from Scooby and Scrappy while the witch cackles at his misfortune. The spell struck Shaggy and turned him into a plump frog. But when Shaggy pokes his green haired head back in he discovers that it's the witch who has got the last laugh. Scooby, Scrappy and Shaggy each poke their heads back in and laugh at the witch thinking her spell missed them.
Just as the door opens and the trio escape, the witch casts a spell. Scooby grabs Scrappy and runs to the front door, as Shaggy frantically tries to open it. The witch then informs them they are to be turned into frogs and be the dinner. Scooby, Scrappy, and Shaggy poke their heads out, excited for food, and ask what's for dinner. The trio hide but the witch lures them out by pretending to be kind and with an invitation to dinner. The witch thinks Scrappy isn't worth turning into a frog because of his size but Shaggy is perfect to be turned into one. First Scrappy tries to fight the goblin and witch, then Shaggy and Scooby come to his rescue. Globby finds Shaggy, Scooby and Scrappy, who had been riding a boat in the nearby swamp, and lures them back to the witch's house so she can change them into frogs. She sends her goblin assistant, Globby, out to look for someone she can turn into a frog to cook in the stew.
She realizes she left out the main ingredient, frogs legs, and that the frog store is closed.
